WB Design & Construction have spent the day working for Domoney Ltd carrying out an instant garden makeover in Nottingham for the winners of an Anglian Home Improvements competition. The winners won a £10000 garden makeover.

WB Design & Construction becomes the first UK member of SIMA
WB Design & Construction joined the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA) and became the first member in the UK and the first contractor member in Europe. As part of this we have committed to the SIMA Code of Ethics and pledges to:

  • Practice honesty and integrity, adhering to the highest standards in our industry;
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors and treat such vendors and subcontractors honestly and fairly, particularly in matters of compensation;
  • Utilise every practical opportunity to expand my professional knowledge, thereby improving myself and my profession;
  • Observe all laws and promote enforcement of those laws;
  • Maintain the highest level of personal conduct to reflect positively upon the Snow and Ice industry;
  • Recognise and observe the highest standards of integrity in my relationships with fellow snow contractors and others associated with this profession and industry;
  • Express professional opinions on technical subjects publicly only when that opinion is founded upon adequate knowledge of facts and competence in the subject manner;
  • Acknowledge and respond to all grievances brought to the SIMA Ethics Committee;
  • Uphold this Code of Ethics in all professional activity and use the Snow and Ice Management Association's name only for purposes that are authorised and fairly represent the organisation and its professional standards.
